Brent Council Safeguarding Prevention Fair

Brent is excited to invite staff and residents to the Safeguarding Prevention Fair at The Base, a special event to kick off Safeguarding Adults Week. This event is all about prevention and raising awareness on how we can work together to protect adults at risk of harm.

12:00 PM – Special Presentation by Hourglass (formerly Action on Elder Abuse)
Topic: Preventing Financial Abuse
Learn about the risks, signs, and strategies to prevent financial exploitation of older adults.
Q&A session to follow.
Meet the Safeguarding Team
Will be available throughout the event to answer your questions and provide expert advice on safeguarding concerns.
Tea, Coffee & Biscuits
Enjoy a warm drink and some delicious biscuits while chatting about safeguarding in Brent.

Representatives from various departments and agencies within Brent will be present to offer valuable information and advice on keeping residents safe.
