The Health Educators Partnership Service (HEPS) is made up of five local agencies working collaboratively to deliver a service designed to redress the health inequalities exposed by the Covid Pandemic in 2020.

The partnership is led by Brent Carers Centre working collaboratively with Brent Mencap, Brent Young Thrive, PLIAS and SAAFI.

HEPS has a team of Health Educators who work across five localities in Brent to promote, maintain and improve individual and community health by assisting individuals and communities to access health and support and adopt a healthy lifestyle.  Health Educators have good links and knowledge of the local community and talk to people in the community about important and sensitive health issues like Covid testing, vaccines and diabetes to prevent them getting ill now or in the future. All Health Educators are trained and supported to understand and explain information on health issues and will signpost individual to specialist advice and support where required.
