News Page - Logo - BBC 80 x 30The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published guidelines to promote high-quality home care services for older people.  Carers should spend at least 30 minutes on home visits to older people in England as part of a new gold standard for services, new guidance says.

The guidelines, NICE’s first for the social care sector, provide robust guidance on how to provide high quality home care services and recognise the importance of people’s aspirations and potential, focusing on what people can do rather than what they can’t.  To read more click here.
