A centre of excellence in Brent for local children and young people aged 5 – 18, with profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex health needs, physical disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders. They offer opportunities for them to enjoy new experiences and make a positive difference and for parents, in turn, to get the chance for valuable short break.
Library books delivered to your door. This service is for people of all ages who find it difficult to get to a library due to a disability, age related problems, ill-health, caring responsibilities or similar.
Brent Parent Carer Forum (BPCF) is Brent Council’s official independent support group for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). BPCF works with the council and other organisations to help design and develop services that improve the lives of children and young people with SEND and allow them to reach their potential.
BPCF encourages parents to have a voice and to raise awareness of their children’s needs by taking part in discussions and consultations with the council, schools and health providers.
The forum is free to join and open to all Brent parents and carers of children and young people with SEND up to the age of 25.
