London Fire Brigade (LFB) provide a home fire safety visit to offer advice on how to make your home safe and where appropriate fit a smoke alarm for free.
LFB will visit people and places where there is a higher risk of fire. This includes high risk individuals such as older people, especially those living alone, those with mobility, vision and hearing impairment, mental health services users and those liable to intoxication through alcohol/drug use. If you are concerned request a home fire safety visit.
If you need help in a mental health crisis you should call your care co-ordinator/lead professional between the hours of 9am and 5pm. For out of hours urgent advice and crisis support you can call this number.
